About Us
Knitters Dream has been a full service, mother-daughter team in the Central Pennsylvania area for over the last 15 years and we couldn't have done it without all of you fiber addicts and knitting lovers out there just like us! We started simply with a small line of yarns offering only knitting and crocheting classes, but today we have expanded and now include spinning, weaving, and our own line of yarns processed at Blue Mountain Farms Fiber Mill, in addition to others such as Plymouth, Berroco, Knitting Fever, Euro, Skacel, and more! We are also the sole distributors of the clear clogs, a fun way to show off your hand-knit socks! Over the years, we decided to expand our adventure and are now a fiber processing mill (Blue Mountain Farms). We always have something new and exciting going on so feel free to check out our blog for the most recent things happening here in Fishing Creek. Hope to see you soon!

I am Linda and I am the knitting addict to this crew. I have over 55+ years of knitting experience and love trying all sorts of new things on the needles! I make sure to never travel anywhere without a knitting bag stashed somewhere in the car. In addition to my yarn hobby, I always enjoy spending time with my grand-babies! Happy Knitting...

Hi there...My name is Angie! I am Linda's daughter and a homeschooling mom of three kids. I picked up knitting through my mom, but developed an even deeper interest in fiber arts through my kids involvement in the 4-H program! Today, I spin, knit, dye yarns, lead two 4-H clubs, and even just opened my own fiber processing mill called Blue Mountain Fiber Mill in conjunction with Knitters Dream. I manage to stay quite busy, but I am also on a Sheep to Shawl team called Just a Little Twisted with some friends and my daughter, Ashley, which serves as my enjoyment! Simply, I just love playing with fiber and all of the fuzzy critters that support what we do!

Hi everyone! My name is Ashley and to put it simple I would have to say that I am a fiber fanatic! When I was only 7 years-old, my Nana taught me how to knit when I picked up a set of her needles as I was watching my morning cartoons and from that moment, I was hooked! From there, I joined the 4-H program when I was 12 and became involved in multiple clubs and began picking up the art of spinning, dying fibers, and weaving. I also began raising Angora Rabbits and Leicester Longwool sheep for their fiber and shows. I always tell everyone that they are like Lay's Potato Chips because you can't just have one! Look forward to seeing you soon!

Hi, I'm Madi! I am a 4-Her and have had a love of raising animals since I can remember! With my family running Knitters Dream, I have decided to raise animals for their fiber because I have enjoyed taking the fiber from my animals and spinning, dying, knitting and weaving with it. I also have to admit that the tiny fuzzy babies are just so stinkin cute! I also raise dairy goats and have worked with my Mom on making goats milk soaps, lotions, and cheeses which we sell at Knitters Dream fresh from Blue Mountain Farms! I enjoy traveling to shows all around the country and meeting new friends along the way! Hope to see you around!

I am Deb and I first started out as a regular customer at Knitters Dream. I became a close friend to the whole Knitters Dream crew and now help out wherever I can! Often times you can find me knitting socks for my son's size 18...yes 18 size shoe! I am also a member of the Just A Little Twisted Sheep to Shawl team where we always know how to have a good time playing with our fibers!
