We've put in a lot of extra hours this week so that we could enjoy this Memorial Day weekend with our family!
We made it! We had gotten a last minute phone call and we were in at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. We had an amazing team who dropped everything, helped pack, traveled with us there, and helped us all weekend! Couldn't have done it without our friends! Thank you all for supporting our booth and stopping by to say hi! It was a wonderful weekend and we're already looking forward to next year.

Thursday, June 2, 6:00 P.M. - 8 P.M. - Beginning Knitting and Spinning. You choose - learn to knit or learn to spin! You will learn basic cast on, knitting, and purl stitches in the knitting class, or you will learn how to spin on a drop spindle. You will need needles and yarn if knitting and a drop spindle if spinning. (all available at the shop) - $20
Saturday, June 11, 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. - Fun with dyes. We will practice with natural dyes, acid dyes, and other fun things. Every person in the class will then choose their own yarn and dye materials they will use to dye their own skein of yarn and / or roving. - $40, materials included.
Thursday, July 7th - 6:00 P.M. - 8 P.M. - Crochet with Core Spun Yarn. - Learn how to use the core spun yarn to make a basket or rug. - $20 . - supplies not included
Saturday, July 9th, 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. - Soap making - join us for a class on goat milk soap making. We will also make a batch of goat milk lotion. Everyone goes home with their own soap and lotion. Meet the goats that generously donated their milk for the class - $35.

Our store will be closed this Thursday, May 26 through and including Monday, May 30th.
We will be back to work in the mill, Tuesday, May 31st, and in the shop Wednesday, June 1sth for regular business hours.
Come visit us and see all our new yarns and roving created from our own animals! We have new Angora, Angora with Silk, fantastic blends of roving, and more! We also have a fresh batch of our Hodge Podge Yarn, Goat Milk Lotion, and Goat Milk Soap.
All snuggled in for their afternoon nap! We can't wait to watch our Giant Angoras grow and spin their fiber into yummy yarns!
