your shopping pleasure. If this is successful, we will try to open 1 Sunday
per month (except in June, July and August). We will see how this goes.

project. 5 – 7 pm.

Classes:
January 26, 2008 – Saturday 10:30 til noon - Ruffled Scarf Class - $15.
Learn to knit a knitted/woven ribbon into a ruffled
scarf. This technique using this special yarn can be used to add ruffles to
those sweaters, shawls etc. Skill level: Easy. (The new Knit’N Style has a
gorgeous ruffled purse which I am going to tackle making in the next 2 weeks).
February 9, 2008 - Saturday 10:30 - 2pm Entrelac Class - $25 (We will
send out for lunch). Skill level: Medium Learn to make a beautiful
multi-colored-diamond pattern into a felted purse. Please purchase your yarn
and pattern prior to the class. There will be some simple knitting for you
prior to the class.
March 8, 2008 - Saturday 10.30 – 12pm – Sock Class - $15 (This will be a
beginner sock class.) After this class, you may want to schedule another 1
hour class ($10) when you are ready to knit the heel of your sock. Skill
level: Must be able to knit and purl. We will be using the Magic Loop Method.
Other classes will be posted to our website when
decided. Additions to our class schedule will be posted to our website. I am
working on an Entrelac sock (toe-up) using a multi colored yarn. Instead of
changing colors, the yarn is doing all the work (well minus a lot of counting on
my part). This class will be for advanced knitters.

Berroco Comfort DK - If you love the Berroco Comfort
in the worsted weight, it’s now available in DK weight for those spring tops and

Jewelry for your Knitting by Lori Stevens - Beautiful
crystal beads and silver/pewter charms made into knitting markers for your
projects. These handcrafted markers are made with Silver Findings Swarovski
Crystals. If they were made for smaller needles, they have adapters for larger
size needles. Sets of 5 or 6 for $28.
The new Knit’N Style Magazine for April, 2008 is
chocked full of so many beautiful and enticing projects that Deb and I are
‘beside ourselves’ wondering where to start!!

COMING SOON: UNIVERSAL YARNS. These delicious yarns

We are hoping to make many positive changes in the
upcoming months.
PREVIEW OF UPCOMING EVENTS: We are going to check-out
a “Knit In” at a local Restaurant/Spa. We will see how that ‘pans’ out.
Different store hours for the summer: Perhaps another
late night – Wednesdays 4 –8pm in lieu of our normal 10-4 daytime hours on
Wednesdays. This will allow me some time in the ‘yard”. I want to enjoy
some yard work and get a tan (yeah right)!
Open 1 Sunday per month as a trial to see if this is
something that you might want.
CLASSES: Remember: You can always schedule a
one-on-one class for $10 per person per hour. Or get your own group together
and let us know what it is that you would like to learn. We will be glad to
accommodate at a time mutually convenient to the both of us.
KNITTERS DREAM BLOG – has been established. We do not
have it running yet. But this is going to be a way for us to communicate with
you to share new ideas, yarns and projects without having to wait for our
quarterly newsletters.
