POPPIN AND/OR COCOON: In 50+ years of knitting, I can’t remember ever having this much fun knitting with a yarn. I first saw it advertised in the National Knitting magazines and knew that I had to had some for our shop. My first Poppin scarf did not comply with the Poppin pattern that we purchased from Plymouth for our store. Come to find out that I misinterpreted the instructions – Well, no surprise there! My scarf was not to ‘gauge’ and was half the size it was supposed to be. After speaking with the designer from Plymouth who was kind enough to tell me over and over again, I finally “got it!”. But, much to my surprise, I like the way I knitted mine instead. Since it was too short (and I had over half the yarn left), I made another one reversing the colors. Today, these complimentary instructions are on the Plymouth website under their blog. They bought the pattern from me!
